LeAnne graduated from Texas A&M University in 1997 with a B.S. degree. She began working in 1999 for Dr. Keerti Rathore as a Research Assistant. Her research mainly focuses on cotton transformation, and also, has worked on insect resistance, fatty acid reduction and gossypol reduction projects.
