Facility:

Crop improvement through biotechnology requires growth facilities with good environmental controls. As part of an integrated biotechnology facility, the IPGB's Plant Growth Facility contains a plant growth space that occupies 12,000 square feet of greenhouse space accompanied by 22 growth chambers and 3 growth rooms all located on the building's second floor. The Greenhouse Annex which opened September 1, 2000 has 25,232 square feet of greenhouse space and a Headhouse that is 16,473 square feet.
